Industry and cottage industry production in May reached 20,655 million VND

The industrial value was 11,755 million VND, a fall of 3.2% and the cottage industry value earned 8,900 million VND, down 2.5% from April 2007.

The reason for this fall is that the rainy season is beginning, which makes it difficult for drying products in the sun and desiccating them. Some products cannot be sold out. In addition, food and foodstuff processing factories are short of raw materials because the supply of these materials from agricultural products is experiencing a sharp fall. Particularly, lots of establishments do not make enough art and craft products for customers.

Also in this May, the Economic Section in concert with the Industry Promotion Center of Dong Nai organized a training of how to start a business for the Farmer’s Association, Secretaries of the Youth League and owner of businesses, etc.
