This capital will be spent in such things: improving transmission system and transformer stations, developing distribution transformer stations and medium tension and low-tension network, installing electricity meters, and perfecting electric power grid.
Particularly as for additional electrical charge, following projects are carried out : In 2006, maximum output capacity was 18.2MW, merchandise electricity 57.957 million kWh, the total electricity used 63.258 million kWh; for the 2006-2010 period, maximum output capacity will be 32.2MW, the total electricity used 125.876 millions kWh, the growth rate of merchandise electricity in this period will be 18.9 percent per year with an average per capita of 488.3kWh/person/year; and by 2015, the growth rate of merchandise electricity will reach 15.7 percent per year, with an average per capita of 904.1kWh/person/year.
Regarding improvement of electricity source in the 2006-2010 period , output capacity of 110/22KV Xuan Truong Station will be heighten from 1x25MVA to 2x25MVA; building the power line with output capacity of 110KV such as Xuan Loc-Dinh Quan, Xuan Loc-Cam My, Xuan Loc-Song May and improving Long Khanh-Xuan Loc power line.
In medium tension network, 95.1km of new medium voltage line will be built, and 18.7km of that will be repaired. Specially, the medium tension network in industrial parks and urban areas are designed with ring circuit with uncovered operation. In rural area, it is designed in ray form to effectively supply electric power, save electricity and ensure safety. Besides, there are newly built 36,710KVA distribution transformer stations in Xuan Loc including 2 types: stations used for urban areas and new resident areas and commercial and service areas; and stations used for rural areas, and areas outside urban centers. Regarding low-tension network, 241.95km of low-tension grid will be newly constructed.
