From March 30th to April 1st, Dong Nai Trade Promotion delegation led by Deputy Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee – Mr. Tran Van Vinh, visited and worked with some big U.S. corporation establish trading connection.

The delegation worked with Walmart International – A big retail corporation from the U.S. with 10,500 retail units in 28 countries. In 2015, Walmart International Corporation’s representative had come to visit enterprises in Dong Nai province to seek for opportunity to corporate to directly export products to the U.S. The goal of this working visit of Dong Nai delegation in the U.S was to learn more about products supply and direct import program of Walmart.
After the work, Dong Nai delegation met Walmart’s purchasing representative in green pepper, coffee bean, cashew, rice… and Walmart’s production team to learn more about the export, manufacturing and packaging product from Vietnamese to the U.S.
Dong Nai delegation then worked with Tyson Food Corporation – one of the biggest food corporation in the world with the top brands such as Tyson, Jimmy Dean, Hillshire Farm, Sara Lee, Ball Park, Wright… Tyson Food’s supplies chicken, beef, pork, smoked meat, sausage, hot dog, pizza… to retailers and food services all around the U.S. and 130 other countries. The goal the working visit was to discuss about the co-operation with the Tyson Food Corporation to develop food processing industry in Dong Nai.
Dong Nai delegation also had working visits to was to Arkansas Economic Development Commission and Arkansas Agriculture Association to seek for opportunity to co-operate trading and attract FDI in Dong Nai.
