Enhancing restructuring state-owned enterprises

 On March 22nd, Provincial Steering Committee or Enterprise Innovation and Development (PSCEID) held a conference to report first quarter’s activities and missions in the last 3 quarters of 2016.​


According to PSCEID, in the first quarter or 2016, Dong Nai province enhanced the equitization and divestiture in state-owned enterprises. Accordingly, Sonadezi industrial zone development company completed their equitization officially on Feb 1st with the charter capital of 3.765 trillion VND, including 99.54% state capital. Provincial also promulgated dicision no. 1080QĐ/TU on Jan 25th, 2016 to ratify the equitization of Tin Nghia Corporation, planning to sell their stock publicly for the first time from the 12th to 14th of April 2016.

Bien Hoa Building Materials Production and Construction Joint Stock Company (BBCC) completed handing over the properties and capital from the equitization state-owned enterprises to joint stock companies following regulations. The state capital when the hand over completed was 316,770 million, accounted for over 70% of total capital. Dong Nai Urban Environment Service Co., Ltd also completed their hand over on December 1st, 2015 with the state capital of 192,128 million, accounted for 64%.

Another company, Donafoods also completed the hand over on January 5th, 2016 with the state capital accounted for 40%.
Dong Nai Food Industry Company (Dofico) cooperated with VinEco Agriculture Investment and Development Co., Ltd to form a 2 members limited liability company specializing in agriculture hi-tech manufacture in farming and ranching projects. After the company was founded, Dofico ended the operation of Dong Nai Milk Company and Dong Nai Agriculture Company. About the divestiture, Dofico had completed 100% their divestiture at Donafoods Company, Viet Thang Pottery Company, Casum Jsc and Viet Phap Fodder Manufacturer. Sonadezi, D2D Company and Dong Nai Lottery and General Service Co., Ltd completed their divestiture 100% at HD Bank
At the conference, the members of PSCEID also shared some difficulties which resulted in the incomplete divestitures of some companies.
