On April 4th, Dong Nai People’s Committee co-operated with Vietnma Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), American Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (AmCham Vietnam) and Vietnam Trade Facilitation Alliance (VTFA) to hold conference to inform enterprise of basic contents of some important free trade agreements and some provincial current support policies for enterprises

According to VCCI’s analysis, in 2015, Dong Nai was in the average group, ranked 37/63 provinces, increased 5 places comparing to 2014. In 2015, there were 225 private enterprises taking part in answering about competitiveness. Dong Nai business environment highlighted the reduction of enterprise registration time from 14 days (2014) to 11 days (2015). The one-stop-shop system in enterprise registration showed more positive results, enterprise support index increased, provincial enterprise institutions were more reliant, public administration reform flourished. Yet, some other objects needed to be improve such as providing more equal business environment for private enterprises, reducing unofficial costs, enhancing vocational training quality, facilitating enterprises in land business, tax, fee and charge, social insurance…
In the near future, Dong Nai shall sign the MOU on trade support to support enterprise in facing challenges and opportunities brought by the trade agreements.
