On April 11th, Dong Nai Customs started to apply the one-stop-shop custom mechanism at seaport to immigrant ships and transits.
Agencies to participate in this mission are Ministry of Transportation, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Health and Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. Joining this system allows customs declarants to send electronic information and document to implement customs procedures and State management procedures relating to immigrant ships and transits via the integrated information system, no more paper work, which save up to 90% of time comparing to the previous procedure.
Ultimately, the one-stop-shop custom mechanism is now launched at seaports of 9 provinces and cities: Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, Da Nang, Quang Ngai, Quy Nhon (Binh Dinh), Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa), Ho Chi Minh city, Dong Nai and Ba Ria – Vung Tau.
