On March 25th, Deputy Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee Tran Van Vinh had a meeting with FDI enterprises to discuss and find solution for the current difficulties.

Mr. Yakabe Yoshinori - Deputy Consul General of Japan in Ho Chi Minh City, representatives of Japanese, Korean, Taiwanese Business Associations and over 100 FDI provincial enterprises presented in the conference.
To the end of March 2016, Dong Nai Province has attracted over 1500 FDI projects with the total registered capital of near 25 billion USD. In which, Taiwan, Korea and Japan are the top 3 countries to invest in Dong Nai province.
Some problems that the FDI Enterprises still questioned were the tax refund, tax policy, the environment, immigrations, administrative procedures, land lease price, transportation infrastructures, hi tech work training…
At the conference, most of the problems were answered specifically by the departments related.Beside, there were also some question about Central policies that were also noted down by provincial leaders to propose to the central.
According to Mr Deputy Chairman, Dong Nai province was implementing the Administration Reform to follow the one-stop-shop mechanism, which shall save time to resolve administrative procedure and make it easier for the FDI enterprises to invest in Dong Nai.
Mr. Deputy Chairman said that Dong Nai always has policies to bring advantages between the province and the enterprises, so Provincial Central Department requested every other department to limit the enterprise check. In case a check is really required, departments and unions should cooperate to implement the check then report to Provincial People’s Assembly for approval to avoid any problem affecting the enterprises. In the other hand, what to do during the check are also to help encouraging the enterprises.
Beside, Mr Deputy Chairman also requested the FDI Enterprises to fully comply all regulations and laws of investments, tax, environment, labor policy… from the Central. In case there are any difficulties or questions, the enterprises shall report Provincial Industrial Zone Management Departments or Departments of Planning and Investment to find the solution timely.
