On October 17, Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee Dinh Quoc Thai received Deputy Governor of Gyeongnam-Korea Cho Jin Lae on the occasion of the delegation’s visit and work in Dong Nai.
At the meeting, Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee said, Dong Nai and Gyeongnam province, have a relationship of friendly cooperation for 20 years. Currently Korean enterprises place the second for investment in Dong Nai with 288 projects, total investment capital over 4.3 billion USD. In which, there are a number of Korean businesses investing in production in Dong Nai with large capital, such as: Hyosung Co., Ltd.; Posco VST Co., Ltd.; Taekwang Co., Ltd, Global Dyeing Co., Ltd…. Dong Nai is attracting enterprises to invest in the supporting industry sector, high-tech industry, agriculture, so the province desires Korean enterprises continue to expand investment in the province.
According to Mr. Cho Jin Lae, Gyeongnam province has strengths in agriculture, automobile manufacturing, shipbuilding, development machines and many companies in the province is expanding investment in Vietnam. This session, a number of Gyeongnam enterprises also come together to learn environment, investment opportunities in Dong Nai.
