Binh Son and Quang Tien communes chosen to pilot the program on encouraging households to save energy.

On the morning of 29 October, officials of Vietnam Women’s Union, under the project entitled “Pilot the campaign on using energy effectively and economically in each household”,  worked with Dong Nai province Women’s Union about supporting Accrodingly, Communes of Binh Son (Long Thanh district) and Quang Tien (Trang Bom district) have been chosen to pilot this program.

In particular, 20 breeding households of these communes have been supported 1 million dong per household to install biogas systems; 200 ones have been supported 30% of

the cost price when buying 4 energy-saving compact light bulbs ( approximately 8,000VND/bulb); and other 20 ones have been supported the expense of installing solar water heaters at the price of 1.5 million dong.
