Households hang out flags on holidays  

  Accordingly,  people will have a day-off  on January 1, 2011. However, Because this day-off is also on Saturday, a weekend’s day so people will have one more day off in compensation on Monday January 3. Units that work on Saturday certainly do not have the day off on Monday.

On the holiday, state-run agencies, households, military agencies, schools and hospitals are requested to hang out the national flag from December 31, 2010 to January 1, 2011. State-run agencies and socio-political organizations shall hang out one more Party’s flag. People’s committees of districts, Long Khanh Town, Bien Hoa City and leaders of agencies and units  shall direct the clean-up of agencies, streets and neighborhoods to celebrate the 2011 New Year Holiday.

The agencies and units are requested to have employees on duty around the clock on the New Year’s Day so that if any problems arising coule be solved in time.
