Dong Nai Launches Various Activities Responding to the National Week for Occupational Safety and Health and Fire Prevention

On March 18 morning, the Provincial Steering Committee of the National Week for Occupational Safety and Health and Fire Prevention in collaboration of the Bien Hoa city People’s Committee held the ceremony in response to the 12th national week in 2010 in Dong Nai province.

Rewarding certificates of merit to groups and individuals with remarkable achievements in the campaign for occupational safety, health and fire prevention in 2009

    With the theme “Safety and Health in Workplace – One of the Basic Rights of Laborers”, this year the week will focus on ensuring safety and health for laborers in workplace, propagandizing to improve awareness and heighten responsibility and obey the laws in organizations and individuals as well as the whole society in occupational safety, health and fire prevention; stepping up efforts to improve working conditions, diminishing labor accidents, occupational diseases, fires and explosions; contributing to local sustainable socioeconomic development.

    At the ceremony, the Provincial People’s Committee gave 20 certificates of merit to 17 groups and eight individuals; Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs rewarded 36 groups and 37 individuals with prominent outcomes in the campaign for occupational safety, health and fire prevention in 2009.
