Two distinguished groups are rewarded with certificate of merit by the provincial People’s Committee. |
In 2008, the association has held a wide range of activities, such as: 310th year celebration of Bien Hoa Dong Nai attracting 127 authors with 693 works of all kinds, poetry talks, regional art exhibitions, composing over 1000 works of all kinds; 500 works exhibited on mass media, participating in the national, regional art photo exhibitions and winning the third regional prize; bringing home 12 international gold medals for photography and so on. However, the association’s activities last year, as valuated, has had some professional limitations and the composing supplementary training courses could not succeed as expected.
As planned, in 2009 the association will set up and implement the project entitled “Let’s better organize and reform performance of Vietnam Association of Literature and Arts together”; hold arts performance on occasion of 30th year celebration of the association’s foundation; partially sponsor to the release of 10 to 15 books and; publish two volumes of arts works, release more than 500 passably or upward arts works
Acknowledging achievements by the association, the provincial People’s Committee already awarded certificates of merit to 2 groups and 18 individuals with notable accomplishments in composition and emulation movements in 2008. By the way, eight new members were admitted to the association, making its total members up to 240.
