Conference on Banks and Enterprises Connection

​(News Portal – Dong Nai) – On 24 October 2023, the Provincial People's Committee organized a conference to connect banks and enterprises in the province.

Attending the conference were Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ho Thanh Son, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Hoang and leaders of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, State Bank of Vietnam’s Dong Nai province branch, departments, associations and representatives of commercial banks and businesses in the province.

Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Hoang stated that the conference was an opportunity for exchanges, clarification and having direct dialogues between the banks, businesses and cooperatives in the province. Thanks to this, relevant departments can grasp the actual needs as well as challenges and obstacles preventing enterprises from accessing to policies to promptly propose ways to support and overcome difficulties.

At the conference, many businesses and associations expressed opinions and asked questions related to issues that involve getting access to preferential capital, especially for priority sectors, medium and long-term loans to improve production technologies, invest in environmental protection systems; also the challenges and obstacles related to borrowing capital in some fields such as export wood, construction... were mentioned.

Leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, the State Bank of Vietnam Dong Nai branch, relevant departments, and units answered the questions of businesses within their authority, as well as acknowledged and reported the remaining problems to  their superiors...

Concluding the conference, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Hoang expressed that the Provincial People's Committee would continue to direct the State Bank of Vietnam Dong Nai branch to proactively implement solutions and manage important credits following the orientation of the State Bank of Vietnam, contributing to the recovery and development of production and business; as well as being in line with the goal of safe and effective credit growth and bad debt control. At the same time, reducing operation costs in order to keep interest rates low on existing and new loans, supporting and accompanying businesses and people to overcome challenges; supporting businesses in borrowing capital to achieve technological innovation in production... ​
