Startup models and how women of Dong Nai province operating them

​(News Portal – Dong Nai) - Within the framework of the working visit in Dong Nai province, on the morning of October 20, the Provincial Women's Union and the Department of External Relations organized a trip for the delegation of the Women's Association of Gyeongnam Province (S.Korea) to learn about the operating and start-up models of women officials and members of women associations in the province.

During the event, the Gyeongnam Province Women's Association delegation visited and learned about the startup market model of the Long Thanh District Women's Union held at the Long Thanh District Center for Culture, Information and Sports. Here, members of the delegation visited the booths and listened to representatives of the Long Thanh District Women's Union share about the startup market model. It is known that the start-up market has been organized by the Long Thanh District Women's Union since 2022 with the aim of supporting, connecting, introducing start-up products and economic development models for women officials and their members in the district and OCOP products of the province.

In addition, the delegation also visited and got to know about the activities of Truong Phat Agricultural Service Cooperative in Nhon Trach district. The representative of cooperative explained to the delegation about the start-up process, how to create products that meet the standards of the one-product-per-commune program, and which products that are currently produced by the cooperative. Also in Nhon Trach district, the group had the opportunity to experience and learn about the handmade crochet products of Ms. Huynh Thi Thu Ngan, in Phuoc Thien commune.

Visiting and learning about women's business and start-up models in the province also concluded the delegation’s work visit in Dong Nai province. Mr. Park Sung Jin, Head of the Representative Office of Gyeongnam Province in Ho Chi Minh City, on behalf of the delegation, thanked the provincial leaders, the Provincial Women's Union and the Department of External Relations for the heartwarming welcome, allowing members of the delegation to have an enjoyable experience in Dong Nai province.

On behalf of the Provincial Women's Union and the Department of External Relations, Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial Women's Union Bui Thi Hanh hoped that exchange activities between Dong Nai and Gyeongnam provinces would continue to be maintained to further tighten the friendly relationship between the two provinces in particular and the two countries in general.
