(News Portal – Dong Nai) - On the morning of October 24, the Provincial
People's Committee organized a scientific conference "Implementing the Outline
On Vietnamese Culture in cultivating and developing Dong Nai's culture and
people for sustainable development”.

Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party
Committee Nguyen Hong Linh; Associate Professor and Doctor Nguyen The Ky,
Chairman of the Central Council of Literary and Art Theory and Criticism; Vice
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Son Hung and Associate
Professor – Dr. Huynh Van Toi, Council member of Ho Chi Minh City University of
Culture co-chaired the workshop.
Attending the conference were leaders of the Provincial Party Committee,
Provincial People's Committee, leaders of departments, offices and many
scientists, cultural and historical researchers inside and outside the
province. The conference organizing committee received 26 presentations from
scientists and managers in many cultural and social fields inside and outside
the province.
The presentations focus on a number of main contents: creating conditions for
Dong Nai residents to reach their fullest potential; improving the quality and
effectiveness of cultural and sports activities which in turn create a rich and
healthy environment and cultural life for the people; intertwining culture with
politics and economics; preserving and promoting the value of cultural heritage
in the province; developing cultural industry products and services in the
province; proactively promoting, selecting, and absorbing the quintessence of
domestic and international cultures; training and developing human resources.
Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee
Nguyen Son Hung affirmed that through the experience of revolutionary struggle,
the timeless visionary ideas of the 1943’s Outline On Vietnamese Culture have been adopted,
supplementing and developing by our Party, gradually making culture not only an
equal part but also helping it penetrate deeper and widely spread in the fields
of economics, politics, society and national defense and security. … Today, the
Outline continues to shine, with its value intact, to arouse the patriotic
spirit and determination of the entire Party, the Army and the people of
Vietnam.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Son Hung believed the
conference was an important event as it helped Dong Nai province creatively
apply and promote the value of the Outline
On Vietnamese Culture in cultivating and developing Dong Nai's
culture and people, creating conditions for Dong Nai residents to reach their
fullest potential.
According to Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Hong Linh, this scientific
conference is an important opportunity for the entire Party, government and
people of the province to thoroughly grasp and comprehend Ho Chi Minh's thoughts
and political directions, guidelines and viewpoints of our Party, especially
the viewpoints of the 13th National Congress of the Party on cultivating,
preserving and promoting the unique values of modern Vietnamese culture, which
is progressive, and rich in national identity.

The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee hopes that after this conference, the Resolution of the Provincial Party Executive Committee term XI "On cultivating and promoting cultural values and people of Dong Nai province to become an important resource and driving force in socio-economic development, meeting the requirements of sustainable development" will be issued and become a reality, with new and effective changes and advancements, marking a new milestone on the path to revitalize and develop Dong Nai's culture and its residents in the new era.
