Trang Bom district strives to establish 10 growing area codes and 20 agricultural product packaging facilities by 2025.

​(News Product – Dong Nai) – Currently, in the district, there are 32 facilities packing Cavendish banana for export. Packaging facilities are built inside growing areas, making it convenient for transporting agricultural products. For growing areas linked to consumption of packaging establishments, there are 22 codes linking growing areas with cooperative groups and cooperatives. According to the 2023 plan, the district plans to build a new packaging facility and 3 growing area codes. The district has evaluated and submitted 4 dossiers requesting issuance of planting area codes and 8 dossiers requesting issuance of packaging establishment codes to the Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development. To stabilize the development of agricultural production in the district by 2025, the district plans to establish 10 planting area codes and 20 agricultural product packaging facility codes in the district. ​

​The district has issued an action plan and implemented it. At the same time, the district continues to restructure the agricultural sector in association with transforming traditional production to clean and large-scale production, focusing on the development of an agricultural production process that links with each other from production stage to consumption stage.

The district focuses on directing and supporting the development of cooperative groups, high-productivity and effective cooperatives. During the half term, 10 new cooperatives were built (the resolution was to establish 1-2 new cooperatives a year), bringing the total number of cooperatives in the district to 56.
