(News Portal – Dong Nai) - According to the report of the People's
Committee of Cam My district, in 2024, the district's target for production
value of agriculture, forestry and fisheries is estimated to reach more than
6,258 billion VND, an increase of 5-6% compared to with the same period. This
is a high growth rate compared to the general growth of the agriculture sector
in the entire province.
In 2023, Cam My district was also a locality with high growth in agriculture production value of more than 5,959 billion VND, an increase of 5.3% over the same period last year. This growth rate is higher than the overall growth rate of the entire province of 3.63%. Of which, the livestock sector reached nearly 3.5 trillion VND, an increase of more than 7.2% over the same period. The proportion of livestock industry accounts for more than 58.4% of the total value of the agricultural sector. Livestock farming in the district continues to develop in the direction of industry, modernity, and biosecurity.
