(News Portal – Dong Nai) - On the afternoon of March 19, as part of their ongoing working program in localities, the delegation led by Mr. Vo Tan Duc, Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, conducted a working session in Dinh Quan district to discuss the economic and social development, as well as national defense and security, in the first quarter of 2024, and the directions for the coming months of 2024.

During the working session, the leaders of Dinh Quan district proposed and recommended several issues, including the request for investment in the construction of water drainage channels and seasonal dams for the Cao Cang fields (Phu Hoa commune), the Ta Rua pumping station project, proposals for road infrastructure projects, maintenance and repairs of certain roads in the district, as well as suggestions regarding environmental protection and tourism development in the area…
At the working session, Acting Chairman of the People's Committee Vo Tan Duc urged relevant departments and agencies to coordinate with the People's Committee of Dinh Quan District to review and propose solutions to address the district's requests. They should also address the obstacles and difficulties faced by the district in a suitable manner, in accordance with the authority, procedures, and regulations.

In particular, the locality needs to accelerate the progress of projects and the disbursement of public investment capital. They should also improve the percentage of households using clean water in the area and focus on ensuring traffic safety. Furthermore, there should be a focus on resettlement work and adequate preparation for major projects passing through the district, such as the Dau Giay - Tan Phu expressway.
Dinh Quan district needs to strengthen strict management in the areas of planning, construction, land use, and mineral resource management. They should ensure budget revenues and expenditures are in line with the set plans. Additionally, the district should leverage its advantages to develop eco-tourism in forests, lakes, and improve the effectiveness of promoting local tourism.

According to the People's
Committee of Dinh Quan District, the total state budget revenue in the area is
estimated to reach over 79.3 billion VND, achieving 30% of the assigned plan.
The total social investment capital in the district is estimated to exceed
468.3 billion VND. The district's road system has been asphalted and cemented,
reaching a rate of 97.6%. Importantly, all 13 communes in the district have
achieved the advanced new rural standards, with three communes meeting the
exemplary new rural standards.
