January 2024: Retail sales of goods increased by 6.2%

​(News Portal – Dong Nai) – According to the Dong Nai Statistics Office, in January, the total retail sales of goods and service revenue of the province was estimated at over VND 25.6 trillion, an increase of about 5.6% compared to the last month of 2023. Of which, revenue from retail sales of goods was estimated at over VND 18.8 trillion, an increase of 6.2% compared to the previous month.

Most retail product groups had increased revenue, such as: food and supply; clothing; household appliances and equipment; fuels... The reason for the increase was that in the month before Tet, people's demand for consumer goods increased, besides businesses, trade centers, supermarket systems and business establishments took the initiative to prepare abundant supply of goods with many forms of promotion to attract people's purchasing power at the end of the year... ​
