The Department of Natural Resources and Environment has just announced the results of the 5th round of air quality monitoring (from July 4 to August 5, 2022) in the province. The level of dust pollution around industrial parks (IZs) and industrial clusters (ICs) has been improved.

Amata Industrial Park in Bien Hoa City

The Department of Natural Resources and Environment has conducted ambient air monitoring at 54 locations in 26 industrial zones. The results show that total suspended dust parameters (TSP) in the industrial zones are in line with the National Technical Regulation on ambient air quality, only Thanh Phu Industrial Park has found that the concentration of dust parameters exceed the standard at some time of measurement, but the average dust concentration in this industrial park still passed.
At ICs, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment has conducted monitoring in 14 clusters, the results show that there are 4 locations in the ICs area (Tan An, Phuoc Binh Building Materials, Ho Nai 3, Thien Tan) detected dust parameters exceeding the National Technical Regulations on ambient air quality at the time of measurement, in which there was a time when the Ho Nai 3 IC recorded dust content exceeding 4.6-7.5 times.
Compared to the 4th monitoring period (in June), the air quality around the industrial zones and industrial clusters has improved, reducing the concentration of pollution and the frequency of pollution detection. The reason is that Dong Nai is in the time of heavy rain, high humidity in the air reduces the dispersion of dust concentration in the environment.
