According to Dong Nai Statistics Office, in the first nine months of 2022, businesses in the province have produced and supplied to domestic and foreign markets about 426 million meters of fabrics of all kinds, an increase of nearly 5% over the same period last year. Therefore, Dong Nai becomes one of the major suppliers of input materials for the country's textile and garment industry. From 2020 until now, after the Covid-19 epidemic occurred, garment enterprises that have difficulty in importing fabrics for production have made efforts to find more domestic supply. Therefore, many fabric manufacturing enterprises have taken advantage of this opportunity to expand production and diversify products to find more domestic partners to increase market share in the domestic market.

Investing in the fabric manufacturing industry in Dong Nai, most enterprises come from Korea, Taiwan, and China. Domestic-invested enterprises invest in fabric production not much. In addition to domestic consumption, enterprises also export to other countries such as Korea, China, Europe and some countries in ASEAN.
