(CTT-Dong Nai) - On the afternoon of July 17, the delegation of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee led by Mr. Vo Ngoc Hiep, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee worked with Dong Nai province representatives on the compensation policy framework, resettlement support of the Tan Phu - Bao Loc expressway project. Welcoming and working with the delegation were Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc and representatives of relevant departments, localities and units.

At the meeting, the two parties affirmed their determination to implement
the project to promote the economic development of each province as well as
create regional traffic connection. Thereby, the relevant localities and
departments of Dong Nai and Lam Dong continued to exchange and discuss to reach
an agreement on the contents related to the compensation price bracket,
resettlement support, the conversion of forest area, rice paddy as well as to determine
the size of the system of roads, underpasses, material mines... The Lam Dong
Provincial People's Committee plans that the construction of Tan Phu - Bao Loc
Expressway project will begin in September-2023.
Tan Phu - Bao Loc Expressway has a length of 67km, passing through Dong Nai and
Lam Dong, of which the section in Dong Nai is about 11km. The expressway will
connect to the Dau Giay - Tan Phu expressway project, while the end point is at
km 216, intersecting with Nguyen Van Cu street (Bao Loc, Lam Dong).

Preliminary total investment of the project (diverging phase) is 17.2
trillion VND. According to the report submitted by the People's Committee of
Lam Dong province to the Prime Minister, the Tan Phu - Bao Loc expressway
project proposed by the investor is a joint venture investment including Deo Ca
Group Joint Stock Company, Hung Thinh Group Joint Stock Company and Nam Mien
Trung Group Joint Stock Company, in which Deo Ca Group Joint Stock Company
represents the investor consortium. To implement the project, there will be
about 455 hectares of land to be acquired, of which Dong Nai province is about
81 hectares, Lam Dong province is about 374 hectares. The scope of site clearance
is complete with a 22m wide roadbed. There are more than 186 hectares of forest
that have its purposes converted.
