According to Dong Nai Statistics Office, the share of FDI sector in the value of industrial production in the province now accounts for nearly 80%. Over the past years, the share in the value of industrial production of FDI in Dong Nai has continuously increased, due to the province's many policies, mechanisms and preferential policies to promote attracting FDI investment into industrial zones. Many large projects of FDI enterprises completed investment into operation, contributing to the economic growth of the province.

FDI enterprises contributed to the province's export turnover continuously increased in recent years and became a trade surplus early compared to the whole country. Currently FDI enterprises account for nearly 78% of the total export turnover of the province. In particular, industrial products of Dong Nai are mostly exported to markets that require high quality and design such as: The United States, Japan, South Korea, Europe.
