Drafting Dong Nai's Emission Reduction Program

​ (CTT-Dong Nai) - At the recent conference to review 10 years of implementing the Resolution of the Party Central Committee on proactively responding to climate change, strengthening natural resource management and environmental protection, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Hong Linh assigned the Party Civil Affairs Committee of the Provincial People's Committee in September 2023 to submit to the Standing Committee the Action Program to reduce emissions to zero in Dong Nai.

According to the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, the Government has now concretized plans, schemes and strategies to achieve net zero emissions by 2050 as committed in the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP26). Dong Nai is a province with a high rate of infrastructure, industrial and population development, so it is necessary to develop an action program to reduce emissions in the spirit of COP26 and implement it throughout the province towards sustainable development. ​
