According to Ms. Phung Thi Bich Huong, from October 15, businesses can declare customs procedures at the Border-Gate Customs Sub-Department for imported goods that must be processed customs procedures at the border gate according to regulations of the Government such as: cigarettes, alcohol, beer, two-wheeled motorcycles, complete three-wheeled motorcycles with piston-type internal combustion engines with a cylinder capacity of over 125cc, air conditioners with a capacity of 90,000 BTU or less, etc. business items temporarily imported for re-export, shortening clearance time, transporting goods, convenient for the delivery and receipt of the entire shipment of enterprises, regardless of the type of goods according to the type of goods needed to checked at the customs station. Enterprises can ask shipping lines to carry import-export goods straight to Dong Nai and Go Dau Ports for customs clearance right at the Border-Gate Customs Sub-Department instead of having to transport the imported goods to other ports in Ho Chi Minh City, or Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province.
“In addition to the advantages bring for businesses in import-export activities, Border-Gate Customs Sub-Department also significantly contributes to increasing the brand value of Dong Nai Port, increasing the flow of import-export goods through the port, contributing to the growth of Dong Nai Port, promoting the socio-economic development of the province, increasing budget revenue from import-export for the locality" - Ms. Phung Thi Bich Huong added.
