Blocking a section of Ngo Quyen Street in Long Khanh City to combat the Covid-19 epidemic

According to Decision No. 74/QD-BCD of the Provincial Steering Committee for the Prevention and Control of acute respiratory infections caused by a new strain of Corona virus, from 12:30 pm on May 5, 2021, a section of Ngo Quyen street will begin to be blocked (the starting point is house numbered 258, the end point is house numbered 222) in Quarter 2, Xuan Thanh ward, Long Khanh city to fight the Covid-19 epidemic.


In the decision clearly stated, the Department of Health presided over and guided the People's Committee of Long Khanh City to urgently implement specific measures to prevent the epidemic in accordance with practical conditions. The provincial police coordinated with the Department of Health, the People's Committee of Long Khanh City and related sectors to establish and arrange quarantine checkpoints and stations at traffic hubs at the medical isolation area to ensure epidemic prevention and control effectively.

The People's Committee of Long Khanh City actively worked with relevant departments to urgently develop and implement a plan to temporarily isolate the medical isolation area, ensuring zoning, timely control of the epidemic without to spread in the community. The city directed the Health Division, the Health Center and Ward People's Committee to monitor the health of people in the isolation area. Report regularly and promptly on unusual developments in people's health, especially developments related to the Covid-19 epidemic.
