In 2019-2020, Dong Nai had 3 enterprises that won the National Quality Gold Award, including: Tin Nghia Corporation, C.P Livestock JSC. Vietnam – branch 3 Dong Nai, Nestlé Vietnam Company.
Solid foundation to enter the world market
The effective use of the quality management system is an extremely important factor because it affects all aspects of the operation of the enterprises. Most of the enterprises participating in the National Quality Management System applied the quality management system ISO 9001: 2015. Today, it is the most recognized and implemented quality management system in the world.
In addition, for each different product line, enterprises must apply appropriate quality management processes to meet domestic and international quality standards. As a result, enterprises that have achieved the National Quality Certificate can confidently integrate into the world.
Tin Nghia Corporation is one of 3 enterprises in Dong Nai won the National Quality Gold Award in 2019-2020. After receiving this prestigious award, Tin Nghia Corporation decided to participate in the Asia-Pacific International Quality Award. This is also an advantage for businesses when entering international markets, especially coffee export activities.
Mr Le Van Danh, Deputy General Director of Tin Nghia Corporation, confidently shared: “The application of management systems according to international standards has helped the production process to comply with international standards. That is a necessary condition to ensure that our products and services are of high quality and safe, gain trust from partners and customers, and have conditions to join the global supply chain.”
The application of international quality management systems requires enterprises not to stop improving the quality of products and services. Branch 3 of C.P Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company is a unit specializing in the production and supply of pig breeds for the livestock industry. Over the years, this enterprise has actively participated in the development of breeding stock in both quantity and quality.
Mr Kieu Minh Luc, Deputy general director of the company, said: “Every year, we have to improve a lot in the production process, both in terms of traditional experience and investment in new technology to improve quality of products, make an important contribution to Vietnam's livestock industry and aiming to the export market in the future".
Until now, the pig breeding industry in Vietnam has only supplied domestic products. C.P Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company will become a pioneer in "exporting" piglets. It is known that this enterprise has a plan to export piglets to the Cambodian market. However, since Vietnam currently has no activity to export pig breeds, there are still many procedures that need to be completed.

National Quality Award is implemented in accordance with the Law on Product and Goods Quality, Decree No. 132-2008/ND-CP dated December 31, 2008 and Decree No. 74/2018/ND-CP dated May 15, 2018 of the Government. This is an award under the Asia - Pacific International Quality Award system (GPEA).
There are 7 criteria given by experts for the score evaluation, including: the role of the organization's leadership; operational strategy; customer and market oriented policies; measure, analysis and knowledge management; management and development of human resources; operational process management; operation results.
It can be said that the comprehensiveness of the set of criteria is a golden measure to help enterprises review the overall management system, recognize the good and bad points to improve all aspects of operations, create momentum for the enterprise to develop sustainably.
C.P Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company is one of the units that have participated in this award for many years. Mr Kieu Minh Luc said: “After studying the 7 criteria of the award, the company's leaders decided to participate in this award. Our first aim is to apply the set of criteria, combined with the values, characteristics of C.P. to improve the company's management system".
Mr. Luc also said that the set of criteria of National Quality Award is likened to a perfect business model, from the role of leaders to all production, business, community oriented activities ... Therefore, when this set of criteria applied, C. P Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company has increasingly improved his governance.
Mr Le Van Danh said that all 7 criteria of the award were very important and had a close relationship with each other. Therefore, meeting these 7 criteria well will contribute to help enterprises to gain a comprehensive view in managing their operations.
