That was the sharing of Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Hoang at the meeting with the delegation of the Embassy of Finland in Vietnam led by Mr Kari Kahiluoto - Ambassador of the Republic of Finland in Vietnam as the Head of the delegation to visit and work with Dong Nai on the morning of April 22. Joined the Delegation was the Counselor in charge of Economy and Development and representatives of some Finnish high-tech companies in Vietnam.

Also according to the Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee, relevant departments and agencies act as focal points to coordinate with the Embassy of Finland and Finnish technology companies to promote cooperation activities of the two sides; in the near future, it is expected that there will be more Finnish businesses come to invest in Dong Nai.
Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Hoang also informed the delegation about the province's socio-economic situation, the situation of attracting foreign investment capital in Dong Nai province. It is known that in the province, there are 1,533 foreign investment projects in 45 countries and territories still valid with a total registered capital of over 31.8 billion USD, in which there are 3 Finnish projects with a total investment capital is 3.5 million USD. Currently, the Nhon Trach city drainage and wastewater treatment system project funded by the Finnish Government's public investment support capital (ODA) will be implemented in the near future.
The Departments of Planning and Investment, Industry and Trade, Natural Resources and Environment also introduced to the Delegation about investment procedures, attracting priority areas, a number of large projects being implemented, and collection and treatment situation of waste in the province.

Representatives of Finnish hi-tech companies presented about clean water and wastewater treatment technology, mixed solid waste treatment technology solutions, technology solutions for mixed solid waste treatment, the field of manufacturing high-efficiency internal combustion engines for gas power plants, technology solutions for clean coal burning, and energy production from waste, etc… contribute to reduce environmental pollution and provide stable electricity supply in the context of developing renewable energy sources in Vietnam in general and Dong Nai province in particular.
On this occasion, Ambassador Kari Kahiluoto thanked the leaders of Dong Nai province and departments for taking time to receive the delegation and create conditions for Finnish businesses to introduce advanced Finnish technology.
