That was the theme of the conference organized by the Provincial People's Committee collaborated with the Vietnam Association of Farms - Agricultural Enterprises and Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), branch in Ho Chi Minh City, held on April 29th.

cooperatives at the conference.
Attended the conference were Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee - Mr Vo Van Phi; VCCI Vice Chairman – Mr Vo Tan Thanh, representatives of the Departments of Economic Cooperation and Rural Development, The Department of Horticulture (Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development) and representatives of many cooperatives, ranchers, enterprises, farmers inside and outside the province.
According to the report of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the whole province has nearly 277 thousand hectares of agricultural production land with many crops and livestock with large herd size and production area. Up to now, the whole province has built 132 chains associated with the participation of 67 enterprises, preliminary processing establishments; 52 cooperatives and 18 cooperatives. In which, there are 84 linking chains in the field of cultivation with a scale of nearly 16.4 thousand hectares and 16 large field projects approved by the Provincial People's Committee with a total area of over 5.1 thousand hectares. The conference focused on many contents such as: opportunities and challenges for exporting agricultural products when Vietnam joins new generation FTAs; situation and reality in linking production and consumption of agricultural products of Vietnam in general, Dong Nai in particular; solutions on production standards to improve the quality of agricultural products to meet the export market; solutions to improve financial capacity for agricultural enterprises to participate in the global value chain ...
Representatives of Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and some enterprises signed cooperation agreements at the conference.
At the conference, representatives of enterprises, cooperatives ... has raised many opinions related to improving the value of agricultural products, enhancing deep processing, finding sustainable export outputs for some fruit and crop products that the province has strength such as: durian, mango, banana ...
Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee – Mr Vo Van Phi noted the comments, contributions of experts, enterprises, coperatives at the conference. At the same time, requested the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, The Department of Industry and Trade and related units and localities to review and have suitable plans to support enterprises and cooperatives in the province to expand the variety of channels for consumption of agricultural products, promote trade connections, find directions to improve processing and preservation of agricultural products in the modern direction ... with the aim of promoting the linking of agricultural value chains and taking advantage, seeking export opportunities from new generation FTAs.
