​Serbia presents Vietnam with the set of pictures about Uncle Ho

On occasion of the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relationship (1957-2012) between Viet Nam and Serbia, the Serbian historical museum presented Viet Nam with a valuable set of pictures about the official diplomatic visitation of Uncle Ho to South Slavia in 1957.  This is a noble and meaningful deed of Serbia on this occasion, representing appreciation of Serbian government towards Uncle Ho as well as the traditionally diplomatic relationship between the two countries.


The event took place during the visitation to Serbia of Vietnam delegation of Ministry of foreign affairs led by the foreign affair deputy Bui Thanh Son on receiving the invitation from the Serbian Ministry of foreign affairs, from the 3rd to the 5th of July.
 
During the visitation, the delegation of Vietnam Ministry of foreign affairs had conducted political reference with the Serbian Secretary of state; had a meeting with the diplomatic consultant of the Serbian president; worked with the Secretary of State of Ministry of economy and the Vice President of the Socialist republic of Serbia.
 
At these meetings, Leaders of Serbia have shown their awareness about the tradition of diplomatic relationship with Viet Nam; highly appreciated the achievements obtained by Vietnam over the past 26 years of renovation as well as the unceasingly heightened status of Viet Nam in the world; agreed to promote cooperation with Viet Nam in international organizations and forums, especially in the framework of the United Nations. Concerning the disputes over the Pacific Ocean, the two parties agreed to peacefully settle the issue pursuant to international law, especially the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea 1982. Serbia agreed to promote the visit exchanges of leader delegations of all levels with Vietnam, especially the high-level visits in order to create momentum for bilateral cooperation in various fields, primarily in economy and trade, education - training, telecommunications and defense industry. The two sides agreed to quickly proceed with negotiation and signing the treaties about economic cooperation, in order to avoid double taxation, encouraging and protecting investment…in order to set up the legal framework for bilateral cooperation./.
