        The reports have show that in 2007, citizens’ complaints and denunciation in the province had a tendency to increase quickly. The amount of petitions within the competence of all-level state administrative units increased significantly over the same period. In the first ten months, the provincial citizen-receiving place and the inspector received 1,210 citizens, of which 16 groups of people in large numbers. The content of complaints focused on the fields of land, compensation for ground clearance and resettlement. high increase of petitions arose in localities implementing projects for industrial and urban zones.

        As for tasks of preventing and fighting against corruption in the province, 433 inspections were deployed on all fields, the total cost of economic violations discovered was VND116,929 million. 63 people were administratively sanctioned. 9 cases with 10 violators of corruption involving a total of VND277,672,000 million were detected in 2007. 3 corruption-related cases with 3 arrestees were prosecuted, 2 cases with 2 arrestees were inspected, and VND81,537,000 million of corruption-related property was taken back.
