On December 4th: the 12th meeting session of the 7th Provincial People’s Council to open

    At this session, the Provincial People’s Council will focus on the following matters: evaluating the implementation of tasks on social economy, security and national defense in 2007, making decision on tasks in 2008, evaluating the direction and administration task of the Provincial People’s Committee in 2007; evaluating the results of budget revenues and expenditures in 2007; considering and ratifying state budget settlements in 2006; evaluating the results of implementing the plans for investment and construction in 2007, and setting targets in 2008; giving comments on adjusting the prices of various types of land in the province in 2008.

    Besides, the session will consider and evaluate specialized projects such as the socialization of education-training, health care, culture-information, gymnastics and sports in the province for the 2007-2010 period in accordance with the Resolution No.05/2005.NQ-CP; the regime of providing allowances to encourage cadres with college/university degrees to serve their tasks at communes, wards and townships; the regimes of working-trip allowances and conference expenses for state offices and public service delivery units; some expenses for activities of the Provincial People’s Council; Some kinds of charges and fees; the and classification of Dong Nai provincial administrative units according to the Resolution No.15/2007/ND-CP of January 26^th, 2007 of the Government. It will consider some reports on the programs fighting against corruption and settling petitions in 2007 and reports on implementing the specialized Resolutions of the Provincial People’s Council remaining valid.
