In the morning of February 9 (the third day of Tet), a solemn ceremony to commemorate and honor predecessors and devoted teachers was organized at Tran Bien Temple of Literature with the participation of Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Hong Phuong, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Vo Van Mot, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council Huynh Chi Thang, Vice Chairpersons of the provincial People’s Committee Dinh Quoc Thai, Huynh Thi Nga, Ao Van Thinh, representatives of departments and agencies, and a great number of teachers, students and people of all walks of life from Bien Hoa city and neighboring areas.

The ceremony is held annually by Bien Hoa city People’s Committee to preserve and develop the tradition of “remembering the source when drinking water”. At the ceremony, the participants offered flowers and burnt incense to worship cultural well-known men and honor beloved teachers.
