Dong Nai Port JSC. informs that this late September, a 30 thousand DWT dock will be inaugurated and put into use (total load of 30 thousand tons) at Go Dau Port (at Phuoc Thai commune, Long Thanh district)
A corner of 30 thousand DWT dock at Go Dau Port is being constructed by Dong Nai Port JSC. This is the largest multifunctional port in the area.
At a total investment of phase 1 of the project is 187 billion, the 30 thousand DWT dock is as a wharf including 1 main and 1 ring bridges. The main bridge is over 250m in length, 22m in width connected to 15 thousand DWT wharf being used. Bridge 32m in length, 12m in width, positioned adjacent to the main bridge was extended to 18m. The wharf elevation is + 6.2 m, -12,2m at bottom level and 1 crane on rails is capable of reaching 36m, lifting capacity 40T. The works are finishing final items. When in use, the 30 thousand DWT dock will receive the type of vessels up to 30 thousand DWT to load and unload cargo, the port currently can receive only up to 15 thousand DWT ships.
