News from the Authority of Dong Nai Industrial Zones said that the Long Thanh high-tech Industrial Park of Thailand investor has been conferred the investment certificate recenttly will be the 4th of provincial industrial zones cooperating with foreign investors.
It is expected that Long Thanh high-tech Industrial Zone will complete phase 1 in 2017 and begin to call for investment. In addition, the province currently has 31 industrial zones, including 3 joint ventures with foreign investor in infrastructure investment. Specifically, Amata Industrial Zone (Bien Hoa City) at more than 513 hectares was built 21 years ago, cooperated with Thailand investors. Two zones cooperated with Japanese investors are Loteco (Bien Hoa city) and Long Duc Industrial Zone (Long Thanh district). Loteco Industrial Zone with total area of 100 hectares, was invested since 1996, the current occupancy rate of over 99% and Long Duc Industrial zone at area of over 281 hectares, is 64% occupancy rate.
