On September 6th morning, at the 26-3 Vocational School (Bien Hoa City), Dong Nai Province’s Vietnam - Thailand Friendship held a meeting on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Vietnam’s National Day (2-9-1945 - 2-9-2015). Ms. Somrudee Poopornanake, Deputy Consul General of the Kingdom of Thailand in Ho Chi Minh City attended the meeting.
Mr. Nguyen Van Thang, Chairman of Dong Nai Province’s Vietnam - Thailand Friendship Association presented Ms. Somrudee Poopornanake, Deputy Consul General of the Kingdom of Thailand in HCM City and other participants with flowers as a thank for attending the meeting.
At the meeting, over 140 delegates, members of Dong Nai Province’s Vietnam - Thailand Friendship Association and representatives of Dong Nai Vietnam- Thailand Friendship Associations from Ha Tinh, Ba Ria - Vung Tau provinces and Ho Chi Minh City have together reviewed moment 70 years ago, at Ba Dinh Square (Hanoi), President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence, declaring with fellow national and world on the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, Vietnam people to become citizens of a free and independent country; the glorious achievements of Vietnam's revolution in 70 years ...
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Consul General of the Kingdom of Thailand in HCM City congratulates the Government and people of Vietnam in general and Dong Nai province in particular on 70th anniversary of the National Day. She wishes that Vietnam - Thailand Friendship Association will continue promoting the role as a bridge to enhance, strengthen traditional solidarity of friendship between the two peoples Vietnam - Thailand. The communities of Vietnam and Thailand in Vietnam will continue to promote the tradition of patriotism, revolutionary solidarity, continuously contribute the strength and wisdom for the construction and development of Vietnam.
On this occasion, Dong Nai Province’s Vietnam - Thailand Friendship Association passed the operation program of the Association in 2015 and held Longevity anniversary for two 80 year old members.
