On October 2nd, Fujitsu Computer Products of Vietnam Inc. (located at Bien Hoa Industrial Zone 2) celebrated its 20th anniversary of establishment. The attendants at the ceremony included Mr. Dinh Quoc Thai, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Satoshi Nakajima, Consulate General of Japan in Ho Chi Minh City and representatives from Dong Nai and other provinces.

The company granted its investment certificate in 1995. At that time it was specialized in designing, producing and assembling printed circuit board with the investment capital of 78 million USD. After a period of efficient operation and business in high tech industry, the company made its investment in the construction of 3 more manufacturing facilities, increasing its investment capital up to 199 million USD. Its circuit board products have been being used in most of consumer electronics products such as: smartphones, tablets, laptops, cameras, pcs, automotive controllers…
Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Dinh Quoc Thai said that Fujitsu Computer Products of Vietnam Inc. is the first enterprise to invest in high tech industry in Dong Nai province. This is also one of the enterprises that have the highest export turnover in the province. The success story of Fujitsu in Dong Nai contributes to improving the image of Dong Nai from the perspective of Japanese enterprises; consequently, more and more Japanese enterprises have come to Dong Nai province to make their investment. At the moment, Japan is among the 3 biggest investors in the province with nearly 200 projects and the total capital of 3.5 million USD.
President of Fujitsu Japan, Mr. Masami Yamamoto affirmed that the company’s investment in Dong Nai province has proved to be efficient and in the near future, it would continue to extend its investment In Dong Nai province, serving the purpose to provide electronic components, PCs… to Vietnamese partners as well as ASEAN and other overseas markets.
