Provincial Party Committee discusses new rural construction at Vinh Cuu district

In a report at Tan Binh commune, till the end of 2010, entire commune achieved 12 out of 19 targets set for new rural construction standards. There were 7 specific targets that are missed out such as traffic condition, irrigation, personal income, collective economy construction, percent of cultured family and cultural community house and environment, etc. Vinh Cuu’s People’s Committee also informed that it gained only 10 out of 19 targets set for new rural construction standards. Several targets were not achieved such as percent of poor people, income per capita, schools, traffic roads and streets, water irrigation, collective economy development and education, etc.

In the working session, Mr. Le Hong Phuong requested Vinh Cuu district and Tan Binh commune to strengthen new rural construction in the coming time. Concurrently, specific reasons for the failure to achieve the targets should be defined, seek proper solutions, expand Tan Trieu grapefruit brand and job training for farmers to prevent any waste, etc.
