Standing Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee Le Hong Phuong is addressing at the working session.

In a report by agricultural sector, total pigs and chickens in the province is more than 10 million heads. Inclusively, pig is around 1.1 million heads; chicken is about 9 million heads. The percentage of farm-bred pigs is 605 and chicken is 80%. Currently, separate husbandry is going to decrease as diseases are out-breaking, consuming price is unstable, animal feed price is surged, all of which bar farmers from expanding and rebuilding livestock herds. Many pig and chicken farms were gradually hired for livestock husbandry by foreign companies, etc.

Addressing at the working session, Standing Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee Le Hong Phuong said that as livestock husbandry is facing high risk local authority should combine with other authorized entities to give timely support policies to farmers. Poor farmers should receive a lot of supports, especially for those who live at mountainous areas. At the same time, Animal Husbandry and Feed Association needs to be founded in Dong Nai.
