Mr. Cau is sitting aside his mango stand at Suoi Tien |
In 2003, he returned to Vietnam to rebuild his mango farm. He also succeeded in collecting one new mango seed from Florida, which had round shape, sweet, fragrant taste unlike other local mangoes. His first 50 mango trees were bred carefully. Till now, they has grown well for 8 years and yielded approximately 200kg/a tree. In 2010 crop, he harvested nearly 10 tons and were pleasantly consumed over the market. All of mangoes from the farm are transported to sell in Ho Chi Minh city.

During fruit festival at Suoi Tien cultural park (located in Ho Chi Minh city), Mr. Cau’s mango display store was always crowded and he sold out 4 tons of mango within 6 days. His funniest thing is that his new mango has come into existence and people call it Hieu Liem mango in a friendly way. Actually, he finished obtaining the brand registration license for his new mango called Kancau.
