Industrial production value in 2007-2010 period up 17.7%

This figure is one of the goals set by Dong Nai industrial sector in the program on implementing Central Resolution No. 08-NQ/TW of the 10th tenure’s Party Central Executive Committee.

        Accordingly, the sector will step up exploring existing benefits to develop the industrial sector in the direction of expanding scale as well as quickly adjust the product mechanism to enhance the product stability; focus on developing 16 products and major industrial groups; improve spearhead industries including manufacturing mechanics, communication-electronic facilities and information technology, new high-tech products; develop the auxiliary industry and comparative advantage industry of the province including food processing industry and mineral exploiting industry.

        Specific goals: GDP reaching VND 24.991 billion in 2010; the average growth rate of GDP is expected to be up 16.3%/year in the 2006-2010 period; industrial production value will achieve 17.7%/year in the 2007-2010 period and 17.5%/year in the 2016-2020 period.

        In order to accomplish these goals, the sector will continue to enhance the state management effectiveness, carry out general plans to develop Dong Nai industry in the 2010-2015 period and deployed the sector’s planning including mechanical industry, electric-electronic industry, electricity and auxiliary industry. Additionally, agricultural encouragement activities should be promoted such as consulting and supporting manufacturing establishments to enhance the competitive capacity in the process of integration; and restoring several traditional small scale industries…
