1,585 labourers to be trained in 2008

Specifically, the number of labourers will be trained as followed: 680 whose jobs involve working with bamboo and rattan, 210 agricultural mechanics, 180 making wood art products; 200 making pottery art products; 75 making brocade and 200 weaving carpets. Besides, the Centre will assist establishments in training their employees based on their practical needs if they meet the criteria for financial support from the industry encouragement fund.
