| Prize-winning products at the first contest |
The purpose of this contest is to spur creativity and commercially viable designs from handicraft makers across the province and neighboring regions, promoting and building the brand name of handicraft products in order to enhance their competitiveness in the international market.
The contest will focus on 3 product groups including interior-fine arts woodwork; fine arts pottery; and rattan and bamboo. The contest is open to all craftsmen, handicraft villages and enterprises, especially students from fine arts and design schools.
The contest registration deadline is August 30, 2008.
