In 2015, Dong Nai will have built 17 commercial brands

According to the program of developing key plants, livestock and agricultural product brand for the period of 2011 – 2015, the provincial authority is continuing to support farmers and enterprises to build up 17 agricultural product brands, including 3 of them obtaining Global GAP standard.


 
Truong An vegetable (Xuan Loc) is bidding to achieve VietGap certificate  

Brand construction is applied on such products as Xuan Hung mango (Xuan Loc); La Nga mango (Dinh Quan); Tan Trieu grapefruit (Vinh Cuu); Xuan Dinh rambutan (Xuan Loc); Trang Dai vegetable (Bien Hoa); Truong An vegetable (Xuan Loc); Gia Tan vegetable (Thong Nhat); Tan Tien vegetable (Xuan Loc); durian (Long Khanh); Siamese custard apple (Cam My); Thanh Binh banana (Trang Bom); Phu Son pig (Trang Bom); Donafoods cashew (Bien Hoa); Tan Hanh anabas (Bien Hoa); Dong Nai husbandry joint-stock company. Financial support for brand construction and registration is equivalent to 50% compared with total expense but not exceed 80 million dongs/unit. Besides, these units will be able to receive a part of financial support for trade promotion, exhibition and expo taking place inside or outside the country for the purpose of launching their products. It is estimated that the province will offer the total amount of more than 22 billion dongs to 17 units.

 Till now, there are now 3 VietGap-accredited products in the province such as Suoi Lon mango (Xuan Hung commune, Xuan Loc district); Trang Dai vegetable (Bien Hoa) and Tan Trieu grapefruit (Vinh Cuu). Tan Trieu grapefruit is the sole product to obtain GlobalGap.
