Cooperation in training human resources for supporting industries

​That is an important issue at the meeting on April 19 between Deputy Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Tran Van Vinh with Kansai Department of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI-Kansai, Japan) led by Mr. Toru Asai, Director of METI international relations.


​At the meeting, the two parties agreed to continue the cooperation framework agreement for the period of 2017-2020, focusing on two main areas: developing human resource for enterprises and coordinators serving auxiliary industry. Accordingly, METI-Kansai will continue to support the training program of human resources in manufacturing industry in Dong Nai province according to Japanese standards In particular, the program will train a source of connected coordinators to introduce the investment environment and incentives from Dong Nai authorities to Japanese businesses investing in Dong Nai.

  Mr. Toru Asai presented Dong Nai government with documents on the development of Kansai Coordinators for the cooperation between the two localities.
 According to Mr. Toru Asai, Kansai region is very successful in building a source of coordinators between enterprises, so if Dong Nai adopt this program, the Kansai Department of Economy, Trade and Industry will assist the province in sending practitioners to Japan for training. Then, the Japanese side will send experts to train the trainees to deploy this program in Dong Nai province.
 
 
Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Tran Van Vinh instructed the provincial functional agencies to coordinate with the Japanese side to finalize the contents of cooperation before officially signing during the trade promotion trip of Japan in the forthcoming third quarter .
 
In 2013, METI-Kansai and Dong Nai signed a framework agreement on economic cooperation with the following contents: development of supporting industries; Cooperation in the field of environment and fuel economy; Cooperation in training and providing human resources for the industry. For the past time, the two sides have successfully implemented many activities to support Japanese enterprises in the investment process in Vietnam, contributing to the relationship between Dong Nai and Kansai.
