Construction Corporation No. 1 (CC1) in coordination with the provincial People's Committee held a ceremony to officially inaugurate An Hao bridge crossing the Cai River (a branch of the Dong Nai River) after 16 months of construction.
An Hao Bridge is an additional item under the new Dong Nai bridge project invested by the Construction Corporation No. 1 (CC1) in the form of BOT. The bridge has the length of 2,153m, in which the bridge is 475m long, 23m wide with 6 lanes of traffic, the rest is the access to the bridge. The total investment capital of the whole project is 937 billion VND. During the peak period, there were 500 workers at the site, thus reducing the completion time.
Once put into operation, An Hao Bridge will help reduce the traffic load through the Vung Tau intersection, connecting the inner city area with major industrial zones including Bien Hoa industrial zone 1 and 2… In the future, it is also an important focal point with adjacent roads such as Highway 1, Highway 51, Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway and Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien metro line.
Chairman of Dong Nai People's Committee Dinh Quoc Thai said that An Hao Bridge is a very important project that Dong Nai had planned to build for a long time. Bridge and other projects such as overpass bridge and underpass tunnel at Vung Tau intersection will help solve the problem of synchronous development of infrastructure in Ho Chi Minh City.Bien Hoa and Dong Nai in general; meeting the needs of socio-economic development not only of Dong Nai but also of other provinces in the region, reducing the time of transportation into the center of Bien Hoa city from 30 minutes down to 10 minutes.
The Chairman of the provincial People's Committee also asked the investor to continue improving, managing and exploiting effectively the works, ensuring absolute safety; do not let bad things happen after the bridge has been put into operation. Bien Hoa city must have good management of land planning and construction in Hiep Hoa isle and An Binh Ward.
Recognizing the efforts of officials and workers during the bridge construction, at the opening ceremony, the provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 7 collectives and 19 individuals.
