On March 3rd, presiding over the meeting with more than 100 foreign direct investment (FDI) enterprises in the province, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Tran Van Vinh emphasized that, Dong Nai will continue to create all favorable conditions for FDI enterprises in the province to achieve high efficiency in investment.
During operation, if enterprises are confronted with officials of departments or agencies, they shall report such cases directly to the provincial leaders. The province continues to implement the policy on limiting the inspection on enterprises, the inspection team must receive written approval from the provincial People's Committee. The province will also make investment in infrastructure and publicize procedures on the internet to facilitate businesses. The opinions of enterprises related to the regulations of the Central shall be noted by provincial leaders and proposed to the Government for early solutions.
Representatives from enterprises attending the conference acknowledged that 16 recommendations of the enterprises presented at the previous conference were resolved or addressed in official documents by the authorities, and expressed the satisfaction toward the investment environment, the frankness and the determination to solve problems of the provincial leaders. All businesses said that the situation of reforming administrative procedures and related policies has been raised by the provincial government.
However, investors expected administrative reforms to continue to be improved and more streamlined; small and medium enterprises need support in implementing policies related to environmental impact assessment, factory renting; continuing to simplify tax, customs and transportation procedures; approval on the environmental impact assessment of small businesses should be assigned to the provincial level to reduce long traveling and pending time.
At the meeting, Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee Huynh Van Toi acknowledged and appreciated the contributions of FDI enterprises not only to the economic development but also to the community and society through activities such as offering scholarship and support to the poor… With the role of supervision and social criticism, the FFC will cooperate with the government to continue to solve the problems of investors, boost administrative reform to create more favorable conditions for enterprises.
