On 21 July 2011, Department of Agriculture and Rural Development held the brief sum-up meeting to assess the production in Winter-Spring crop 2010 – 1011 and Summer-Autumn crop 2011 and set up the plan for entire seasonal crop 2011.

In a report by Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, in the entire province, there were above 38,000 hectares of various plants being grown during the past Winter-Spring 2010-2011. Thanks to good water moderation, the productivity of plants was gained rather fairly. Specifically, the plant yield was listed such as rice 56.15 quintal/ha; maize 74.82 quintal/ha and cassava 226.02 quintal/ha, etc. In this Summer-Autumn crop 2011, estimated land till 10 July is 74,985 ha, achieving by 92.98% as planned, equal to 100.15% compared to the same period of previous year. At present, all of plants for Summer-Autumn crop 2011 are about to be harvested. As forecast, the productivity and quality may be rather fair due to the application of technological approaches and fertile seedlings.
