Searching for suitable and effective commercial and service development plans

​(News Portal – Dong Nai) - On the afternoon of October 18, Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Hoang chaired a working session with relevant departments and units to receive the report from the consulting unit on trade and service planning in the province.

At the meeting, provincial leaders, leaders of relevant departments and localities listened to a consortium of consulting units presenting plans to develop the province's trade, services, and commercial infrastructure systems in the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050. In addition, there is also a plan to develop energy infrastructure, oil and gas reserves and supply associated with the province's industrial production, and the provincial electricity infrastructure plan...

After that, relevant departments proposed 6 related comments on problems and issues that need to be adjusted and supplemented in plans for trade, service, energy, power grid…

Vice Chairwoman of the People's Committee Nguyen Thi Hoang wanted departments and localities to coordinate with the consulting unit to carefully review data and the current situation on trade, services, power grid and energy systems. From there, the province will be able to come up with a plan to develop planning for trade, services, power grids, and energy thoroughly, in accordance with the general planning of the province, the region, and the country, as well as ensure effective development and energy security, grid safety...  

At the work meeting, Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc requested the consulting unit to consider and supplement opinions and suggestions from relevant units to complete development plans. In particular, for the commercial and service sector, it is necessary to come up with a suitable development plan, taking advantage of the province's potential when Long Thanh International Airport comes into operation. The consulting unit, the Industry and Trade sector and relevant localities also need to review and pay attention to the issue of effective market planning, especially in rural areas, the issue of developing commercial centers and supermarkets in accordance with socio-economic development targets, as well as a plan to develop e-commerce and digital economy...

For plans on electricity, energy planning, reserves, and supply of petroleum and gas, the consulting unit and departments need to develop appropriate measures to ensure electricity and energy supply for the province's fu​ture socio-economic development requirements, meeting the needs of the people, production activities and development orientation of clean energy sources. ​
