According to Dong Nai Statistical Office, the export turnover of the province in February was estimated at nearly 1.19 billion USD, decreased by 601 million USD compared to the previous month. The reason for this fall in export turnover in February is due to many companies having Tet holiday in 2019, stopping production and export activities.

However, in 2-2019, Dong Nai enterprises still have trade surplus of about USD 140 million. Thus, in the first 2 months of the year, enterprises of Dong Nai trade surplus with 475 million USD.

Expected in March, the province’s export turnover will increase because companies return to normal business activities. Many companies have received production orders by the end of the year.

In particular, the effective CPTPP agreement and many free trade agreements under the route to continue deep tax reduction will help businesses expand production and export. The key industries of Dong Nai will continue to have high growth: textiles, footwear, textile fibers, wood products, computers, electronic components, machinery and spare parts.
